EMS training

Tuesday night's in-station fire school focused on patient contact. Chief Bundek went over various situations with the newer members to teach them how to interact with patients. In addition to patient contact, we went over how to board and collar patients both laying down and standing up. Before they were dispatched for a medical call, our EMS officer Candy Peer and her crew walked all the new members around Leipsic's ambulance to show them how it was laid out since they are first due ambulance for most of our district.
